JAMMU, Jan 3: To commemorate the success of its students, who made it to the IIT, NITs and different Medical Colleges of the country in 2013, AK Vidya Mandir, a Premier Institute of Education, Jammu held a very beautiful function at City Farms Jammu in which five hundred students and their parents participated. Dubbed as the Premier Hungama Day, the event was replete with bonhomie and camaraderie.
While all the selected students of medical stream got stethoscopes and aprons, the ones selected for engineering were given safety helmets and mementoes, as gifts and talismans. Besides this, the gathering was informed that even when infamity engulfed the BOPEE, AKV held its poise of competing.
The three State toppers of the JKCET 2013 were AK Vians. Shomik Raina, State rank Ist, Akhil Pandita, State rank 2nd and Pranav Mahajan, state rank 3rd were presented with gift Cheques of Rs 50000, Rs 25000 and Rs 20000 respectively.
Justice Parmod Kohli, (retd) Chief Justice Sikkim High Court was the chief guest and renowned educationalist ID Soni was the guest of honour.
