JAMMU, Oct 18: Adding another feather in his cap, Akash Batra has become the first person from Jam-mu and Kashmir to be selected for umpiring in 1st South Asian Girls Under-16 International Netball Championship, being held in Kathmandu in Nepal.
Akash has the distinction of bringing laurels to the State by winning medals at the National and International scene in the field of Netball.
He has the honour of being a gold medallist, national referee and A Graded Certificate Holder, under Sports Authority of India, Patiala.
