JAMMU, Oct 7: To mark the occasion of 86th Air Force Day, Air Force Station Jammu organised a Cross Country Run and Cycle Rally in its premises, here today.
A cross country event named “Run For Fun” and a cycle rally were organised for air warriors, families and children of Air Force Station Jammu. More than 500 air warriors and families including 100 children enthusiastically took part in the event. The occasion was also utilised to create enhanced awareness on aerospace safety.
Air Commodore S K Mishra, AOC, Air Force Station Jammu and Mrs.Nisha Mishra, President Air Force Family Welfare Association (AFFWA) (Local) flagged off all the rallies. Later, at the end of the event, all the winners were presented with medals and certificate. In his address, the AOC appreciated the whole hearted efforts of air warriors thanked children and families for their enthusiasm and participation to make the event a grand success.
