JAMMU, Nov 29: Trouncing Nakul Vaid in the summit clash, Aesh Goswami lifted the Under-19 boys title, while Shrijus Sharma defeated Annu Baloria in the final to claim Under-19 girls title and Unnati Jaral drubbed Krishika Mahajan to win Under-17 girls final in the ongoing 34TH Jammu District Badminton Championship-2019, being organised by Jammu District Badminton Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association at Badminton Hall Police Lines Jammu and Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
In Under-19 boys final, Aesh defeated Nakul (16-21, 21-11, 21-15), while in Under-19 girls title clash, Shrijus trounced Annu (21-18, 21-19) and in Under-17 girls final, Unnati thrashed Krishika (21-17, 21-12).
In Under-19 mixed doubles final, the pair of Nakul and Unnati defeated the duo of Prabjot and Mannu (21-10, 21-13), while in Under-15 girls doubles final, Krishika and Shambhavi got the better of Eshita and Divya (21-2, 21-3) to win the title.
In Under-15 boys singles final, Ojas Suri prevailed over Yashasvi (21-15, 21-15), while in Under-15 girls singles title clash, Unnati Jaral outplayed Krishika Mahajan (21-13, 21-11) and in Under-15 boys doubles final, Ojas and Yashasvi drubbed Vansh and Sanyam (21-16, 21-19).
In Under-17 boys singles, Aesh Goswami defeated Sehdev Singh in the final by (21-11, 20-22, 21-19).
