JAMMU, Nov 29: ACM Public School, Janipur, Jammu emerged champion in the 6th State Martial Arts Championship, winning a big haul of medals with 17 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze, here.
The second place went to Rhyme Time Play Way School, bagging 10 gold, 5 silver and 15 bronze, while Jammu Public School claimed 14 medals with 8 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals. Katra team clinched 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, while Private Club claimed 4 medals with one gold, one silver and 2 bronze medals.
The Championship was organized under the supervision of Karun Khajuria, chairman and the instructors of Freedom Society, the organizers of the event.
Earlier, on the opening ceremony yesterday, ML Babbar, chairman of ACM Public School was the chief guest and Nirmal Babbar was the guest of honour, while on the closing ceremony today, PDP leader Bharat Chowdhary was the chief guest. Vikram Singh, Sachin Sharma and Neerja Handoo, Principal ACM School were the guests of honour.
