Ace golfer Mahindra Singh to participate in prestigious Surya Nepal Masters

JAMMU, Apr 9: Hailing from District Samba and stationed at Delhi, J&K’s ace golfer, Mahindra Singh will be participating in the prestigious Surya Nepal Masters to be held from April 29 to May 2, 2015 at Gokharna Golf Resort in Kathmandu.
It is a professional Tournament, with prize money of Rs 35 lakh and the format is stroke-play.
This is for the second time that Mr Mahindra will be taking part in this sporting extravaganza as he has participated in this Tournament in the year 2014 also.
Before this Tournament, Mahindra was part of Cochin Masters played at Cial Golf Course, Cochin.
The skilled golfer has participated in galaxy of mega golfing events at amateur as also professional level. Global Green Open at Bangalore in 2009, Indian Oil Masters at Assam in 2009 and Surya Nepal Masters in 2014 are a few Tournaments to name.
When contacted, Mr Mahindra has attributed his success apart from his parents Kanchan Singh and Kanta Devi to Ch Lal Singh, Minister for Health, J&K.
“My parents are my sources of inspiration, while Ch Lal Singh’s support and guidance has been instrumental in helping me to shape my career,” Mahindra expressed.
