Kathua District Athletic Championship concludes

KATHUA, Feb 24: Aaryan Sadhatia, Manvi Sharma, Dieshive Singh, Ruhama, Sachrit Sharma and Ankit Sharma won gold medals in various categories of 100 meters sprint race in Kathua District Athletic Championship which concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
The gold medals in 200 meter race in various age categories went to Mohd Rafiq, Shakeela Begum, Bharat Bhushan, Muskan, Tushar Sudhatia and Amit Singh.
Apart from 400, 800, 1500 meters races, the other events included Shot Put, Long Jump and High Jump.
The prize distribution of the Championship was held in an impressive function today. The Medals and Certificates were distributed among the winners by Sharat Chander Singh, General Secretary J&K Athletics Association in presence Varinder Singh, President Kathua District Association, Sanjeev Singh, General Secretary, Kathua District Athletics Association and Swaran Singh, Joint Secretary Kathua District Athletics Association.
The events were conducted by Abid Hussain and Dalip Sharma.
