UDHAMPUR, May 27: Bharat Scouts & Guides Association today presented Mask Bank to District Administration Udhampur as part of moral and social responsibility towards emerging need in view of carona pandemic.
As per the directions from National Headquarter, Bharat Scouts & Guides, under the guidance of Ashok Kumar, its District Commissioner Udhampur, had already distributed 1500 masks among the needy and distributed more 1450 masks today.
“The work is on to prepare more 1500 masks for the cause. The Association is committed to help hapless and needy,” said Ashok.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur on behalf of District Administration Udhampur extended thanks to Bharat Scouts and Guides Association and all the contributors for this gesture.
Ashok Kumar thanked all the contributors including Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur, Principals, Staff and Scouts & Guides of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur, Brahm Rishi Bhawara Vidya Peeth, Amandeep Public High School, KC Gurukul and Common Public School.
Rakesh Sharma, Rakesh Singh and Priyanka Sharma were also appreciated for their services.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Renu Sharma, Veena Sharma, Amar Dev Singh, Partap Singh, Jeevan Kumar and Vikram Gupta.
