Bharduwaj High School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Feb 2: Bharduwaj High School, Barui celebrated Annual Day function with great fervour and enthusiasm here today.
The annual function started with ‘Ganesh Vandana,’ followed by the address of the school Principal, she highlighted the achievements of the school.
Former Minister and BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest and in his address, he said that teachers and the students are co-related with knowledge and learning process. “They should learn bonding with each other since their excellence in teaching and learning process lead to nation building.”
He said that it is very necessary for the students to take part in co-curricular activities and games along with academic studies.
Exhorting teachers to emphasise on this crucial aspect with a sense of devotion, Sharma said that the teachers have to be role model for their students. “Their role is not of immense importance only in making children academically sound but they can have tremendous influence on their social behaviour as well”, he said adding that the students need lessons of life alongside guidance on the subject matter for becoming useful citizens of tomorrow.
Sharma also praised the principal and staff of the school who have worked hard in providing better infrastructure and facilities to the students. The students presented an array of mesmerizing and colourful cultural events.
