DODA, July 7: With an aim to increase the sports activities and youth engagement in sports across the district, DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode inaugurated a refurbished indoor badminton hall at Doda under the premises of Government Boy’s Higher Secondary School, Doda.
A big hall with a good 40-foot height and excellent rubberized mated court along with the light facility are available for the young and aspiring badminton lovers of the Doda.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that to improve the sports infrastructure across the district is the utmost priority of the district administration. He appealed the younger generation to adhere at least one sport activity in their lives because sports enhance the discipline. The DDC also informed the participants about the sports projects taken across the district under ‘Khelo India’ program.
Other officials present in the program were SSP Doda, DPO Doda, DSP DAR Doda, BDO Kahara, besides sports persons and other officials of district administration.
