Teachers’ Day celebrated

JAMMU, Sept 6: G D Goenka, 92.7 Big FM and Rotary Club Jammu Tawi celebrated Teachers’ Day with zeal and zest here.
G D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust, celebrated Teachers’ Day at Goenkan acres. Vikrant Mahajan, a versatile genius, who has 100 Guinness Book World Records to his credit, was the Guest of Honor. He spoke on “What makes a great Teacher?” He talked about the qualities of a great teacher.
To express Gratitude to the teachers on Teachers’ Day, 92.7 Big FM organized ‘Teacher’s Day Out’ with Big MJ’s in which Shalini Pradhan from Delhi Public School, Jammu was selected to participate in the fun-filled activities held at Golf Course, Sidhra on 5th Sept. 2018. The idea was to regale the teachers with a royal and unique experience and also to make them feel special throughout the day.
Rotary club Jammu Tawi today celebrated teachers day at Govt High Sec school Sunjwan MLA & Ex DyCM Kavinder Gupta was the Chief guest . Rotary club Jammu Tawi honoured 5 teachers namely Sultana kousser, Suresh Khajuria , Jyoti Bala, Poonam Sharma and Rajesh Singh.
