French festival concludes at Jodhamal Public School

JAMMU, Dec 1: Month long French festival organised by Jodhamal Public School concluded today.
During the festival, students prepared variety of French cuisines like Chocolate soufflés, Choco truffles with gem cake, Veggie pie with Mocha Chino, Boche de Noel with café.
The French club of the school organized a French Fashion show cum French Poem Recitation Competition where the inter-cultural ethos was brought to surface. The judges and the spectators appreciated poems like Le Weekend, Frere Jacques and Mademoiselle.
Students also participated in the “One Nation Read Together” activity organized in collaboration with Scholastic India.
As part of literary activities, the students are made to do book reviews, movie reviews, fiction writing and presenting advertisement role plays, seminars and debate etc to bring in the all round development.
On the occasion, the judges were Jatinder Raina, Chairman, French Club, Jammu University, Tandeep Handa and Neetu Sharma.
At last, Principal Trilok Singh Bist gave away the prizes to the students and appreciated the efforts of the French Club for their hard work and commitment.
The French festival was organised under the guidance of French teacher Poonam Dalia and the ISA Coordinator Arshia Malik.
