Students building blocks of strong foundation of nation: Bhalla

JAMMU, Jan 28: Madhuvan Kids celebrated its First Annual Day today amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation.
Raman Bhalla, former Minister was the chief guest on the occasion. Among other dignitaries present were Zorawar Singh (General Secretary Press Club Jammu and Chairman Team Jammu), and Principal Amrit Choudhary.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Raman Bhalla, escorted by the other dignitaries and the Principal. This entailed the bouquet presentation.
Earlier, the Principal, Amrit Choudhary presented welcome address.
The cultural programme commenced with a scintillating dance performed by toddlers with exuberance and unmatched zeal and rhythm. The Kids also gave knowledgeable speeches on environment and the necessity on saving water in today’s world.
Former Minister while speaking on the occasion asked the teaching fraternity to help students for imbibing high values as they are architects who have the responsibility of shaping personality of students, adding that  moral ethos are eroding with the influence of western culture and need of the hour is to preserve our age old traditions. He said that students are building blocks of strong foundation of the nation and so deserve to be nurtured with good care and concern.
He appreciated the efforts of school administration and students for exhibiting their talent through cultural items.
Bhalla asked the students to remain focused in their studies besides participating in extra-curricular activities for their overall development.
This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, managed by Amrit Choudhary, Principal, Madhuvan Kids, where the chief guest gave away prizes to the best performances of the function.
The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
