Dream CC, Kashyap Club register resounding victories

JAMMU, Sept 23: Dream Cricket Club and Kashyap Cricket Club registered convincing victories in the ongoing Sharika Diagnostic IInd KPL Pink Ball Cricket Tournament, being played at KC Sports Club ground, here.
In the first match, Dream Club defeated Adarsh Cricket Club by 6 wickets in an easy contest.
Winning the toss and batting first, Adarsh Club scored 131 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. King Ji was the top scorer with 39 runs, while Karan contributed 16 runs to the total. Sahil, Vishal Kant and Vicky Raina took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Dream Club chased the target in 13.5 overs by losing 4 wickets to win the match by 6 wickets. Vishal Kant top scored with 52 runs, while Deepak contributed 41 runs to the total. Vikas also chipped in with 15 runs. For Adarsh Club, Mithu took 2 wickets, while King Ji claimed one.
In another match, Kashyap Cricket Club defeated Sharika Cricket Club by 6 wickets.
Sharika Cricket Club collapsed at 53 runs in 11.2 overs. Arun Kardar and Vinod were the only batsmen to cross double figure mark, scoring 14 and 10 runs to the total respectively. Sandeep took 4 important wickets, while Sanjay Koul claimed 3 wickets from Kashyap Cricket Club.
Kashyap Cricket Club, in reply chased the target in 7 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Ramesh Miskeen (18) and Rajinder (13) were the main scorers. Sunil was the pick of the bowlers from Sharika Club, who took a brilliant hat-trick.
