JAMMU, June 23: To celebrate Olympic Day, Hockey J&K organized an exhibition match at Baba Julla ground, Gole Gujral, here today.
In an exciting contest, Khalsa Hockey Club, Gole Gujral defeated MBS Hockey Club, Simbal Camp by three goals to two (3-2). Gurmeet Singh was the star performer, who was adjudged as man of the match.
On the occasion, young players from both the clubs namely Balmeet Singh from Khalsa Club and Sukhpreet Singh from MBS were awarded by the chief guest, Rajeev Sharma, Industrialist.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh, Jaswant Singh, GS Bakshi, Jaspreet Singh, Karanjit Singh, Surinder Singh, Rajinder Singh (Nathu), Harjeet Singh, Satvir Singh and Iqbal Singh.
