Maj Rohit Sharma T-20 Cricket Tournament gets underway

POONCH, June 3: In an effort to integrate local youth with national mainstream and to further strengthen the bond between Army and locals, Shaheed Major Rohit Sharma Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament is being organized by the Army at Degree College Ground, here.
The event has received an overwhelming response in which teams of Under-19 category of Poonch District are participating.
A total of 16 teams would be competing in this tournament which would be conducted at Degree College Ground, Poonch from June 1 to June 17, 2017.
Commander 6-Sector Rashtriya Rifles inaugurated the tournament.
Huge number of spectators witnessed the opening ceremony.
