SOPORE, Mar 14: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, organized Inter-School Road Race for Under-17 Boys, wherein hundreds of athletes participated, here today.
The 6 kilometers race was held from Warpora Sopore to Government Higher Secondary School Botingoo, Sopore.
Students drawn from 10 schools (Govt/Private) participated in the event to vie for the top honours.
Rameez Ahmed of Govt Higher Secondary School Botingoo, Sopore clinched gold, while Mohammad Ramzan of High School Hathlangoo Sopore bagged silver and Rayees Ahmad Bhat of High School Adipora Sopore claimed bronze.
Luqman Ahmed Lone of GMS Watlab Sopore and Jamshan Rashid of MPS Janwara Sopore claimed 4th and 5th positions respectively.
