Media XI outplays Bishnah Cricket Club in a friendly tie

Jammu, Aug 13: Sunil Bali’s brilliant 70 runs in just 52 balls guided Media XI Jammu team to register win against Bishnah Cricket Club.
Led by Yash Khajuria, Media XI won the toss and elected to bat first. While batting, Media XI set a target of 169 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 18 overs.
Sunil Bali remained the highest scorer from Media Eleven with 70 runs in just 42 balls, whereas Rahul Khatri contributed with 24 runs in 7 balls and Dhai scored 21 runs in 15 balls for the team.
Rohit by clinching 3 wickets in 4 over by conceding 37 runs remained the pick of the bowlers for Bishnah Cricket Club.
In reply, Bishnah Cricket Club got brilliant start as skipper Ankush (52 off 32 Balls) and Sachin (32 off 18 Balls) kept the scoreboard going as BCC were at 104 at the loss of 1 wicket after 10 overs, but failed to hold their nerves in the crucial time and remained short of 9 runs to the target.
Disciplined display of bowling by the Kaka, Sunil Thappa, and Rahul Khatri proved deciding for the Media XI to remain better at the end of the match.
After the Ankush’s 52, and Sachin’s 32, Shivam contributed 32 and 23 runs for BCC. From Media XI Jammu, Kaka and Rahul Khatri shared 1 wicket each.
Later, Sunil Bali of Jammu Media XI team was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
