KISHTWAR, June 14: Al-Hilal Educational Institute (AHEI) emerged overall winner in the Inter School District Level Speedball Championship, organized by J&K Sports Speedball Association, here.
On the valedictory function, DC Thakur, Sports Officer DYSS Kishtwar was the chief guest, who awarded the winners in presence of Sunny Nanda, General Secretary Speedball Association, Javad Kripak, Chairman Al-Hilal Educational Institute, Mohammad Iqbal Kelam, Principal of the host school, Ghulam Abas Waza, Ghulam Mohammad Malik, Ghulam Mustafa Malik and Rashid Hameed, Managing Committee members of Al-Hilal Educational Institute.
In under-8 Single (boys), Touheed Ahmed, Azhar Shafi and Faisal Amin, trio of AHEI clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-10 category, Sajid, Rashid Latif and Mohammad Burhan clinched top three ranks respectively. In under-12 category, Tanees Ahmed of AHEI, Sahib Malik (GMS) and Amir Nazir of NMA bagged first, second and third positions respectively, in under-14 category, Touqaar Ahmed of GMS, Rahil Shabir of KPS and Tahbeer Amhed of MSCB bagged first, second and third positions respectively, in under-16 category, Shaheer Mattoo of GMS, Sahil Thakur of ABN and Azhar Mushtaq of NMA clinched first, second and third positions respectively and in under-18 category, Ayaz ahmed of GHSK, Atul Kumar of GBHS and Ahmed Towheed of GPK secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-6 Singgle (girls), Mutiba Arjuman, Amreen Ashraf and Labika Fatima, trio of AHEI clinched first, second and third positions respectively, in under-8 category, Anika Khanam, Arufa Bashir and Aysha Fatima, trio of AHEI bagged first, second and third positions respectively, in under-10 category, Rabiya Naanib of NMA, Suhan Rafi Mir of MSM and Arooba Farhat of AHEI clinched first, second and third positions respectively, in under-12 category, Shagufta Banoo of KPS, Humeera of MSM and Sharika Banoo of KPS bagged first, second and third positions respectively, in under-14 category, Ashu Badyal of GGHS, Simriti Sharma of LAS and Sumreena of MSM secured first, second and third positions respectively. In under-16 category, Priyanka Bandral of LAS, Tavida of MSM and Mehrun Nisa of GGHS bagged first, second and third positions respectively and in under-18 category, Andleeb Jahan, Maheen Sabana and Rahat Nabi, trio of GGHS clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
