JAMMU, Feb 22: Body Building Association of Jammu and Kashmir selected 17-member State Body Building team for the forthcoming Mr India and Federation Cup Body Building Championship 2016.
The event for Mr India will be held at Raigad in Maharashtra from March 11 to March 13, 2016, while Federation Cup will be held at Ludhiana in Punjab on March 18 and March 20, 2016.
“The selection trials were held at MA Stadium Jammu, wherein 50 Body Builders participated. The players were selected by the panel of experts including Nand Kishore Gupta, Suresh Gupta and Sure\shet Dutta,” informed Rajesh Duta, general secretary of the Body Building Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
The selected players included Dhananjay Singh, Dr Guneet, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Sidharth Sathoo, Akshat Gupta, Vimal Jit, Vikas Thapper, Rajnesh Jamwal, Vikram Singh Shaka, Deepak Sharma, Sidhanth Bali, Aman Sharma, Rohit Choudhary, Pawan Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rajesh Gupta and Parveen Slathia.
Those who were present in selection trials included Shiv Kumar Sharma, joint secretary J&K State Sports Council, Bhupinder Singh Tirthi, Suresh Kumar, Er Naresh Gupta and Advocate Amit Manhas.
