JAMMU, Dec 9: Paramount Convent School today excelled in the English Spellathon held in Nuv Yug Higher Secondary School, Shiv Nagar, here.
Fifty five students from classes 2nd to 4th participated in the Spellathon.
The objective of the Spellethon was to motivate children to take keen interest in enriching their vocabulary and pronunciation skills to become effective and impressive communicators.
In class 2nd, Aditya and Jatin got first place, while Asad-un-nasir, Rudhra and Aarav shared 2nd place and the third place went to Swarali.
In class 3rd, the 1st prize went to Vamakshi Mrighya and Parth, while Pyush and Vanshika shared second prize and the third prize went to Pranay.
Adhyan won first prize, while the second prize was bagged by Vidhi and third prize went to Aryaman.
The prizes were distributed by Hardev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director of Nav Yug Hr Secondary School in presence of School Principal, Isha Manhas.
