GDC Dharmari organizes symposium

JAMMU, Nov 30: Keeping up its resolve to implement the Directives of the Prime Minister of India, Government Degree College Dharmari organized a symposium on “Impact of Swach Bharat Abhiyan on Health and Hygiene of Common man of India”.
Dr Tilak Raj Sharma, Principal of the College was the chief guest on this occasion, while Dr Chander Mohan presided over the function.
While interacting with the participants Prof Sharma asked the students to motivate other masses to join hands for the active involvement in this Abhyan i.e. Clean India Mission which will in turn lead to a cleaner nation and a better Economy.
The students were very enthusiastic about expressing their innovative ideas on the topic. They expressed their concern on the issue and presented the possible measures keeping in view the rural character of the Nation.
Sabzar Wani  B.A.Part-II, Basharat Hussain and Rubina Kousar secured first, second and third position respectively.
The programme was attended by the students and the teaching faculty of the College.
The programme was conducted by Pankaj Changotra, Lecturer in Political Science.
