REASI, Sept 9: District Institute of Education and Trainings, Reasi organized 4th District Level Inspire Award Science Exhibition, here.
Bhawani Rakwal, Additional District Development Commissioner Reasi, inaugurated the Exhibition and interacted with the participating students.
V K Soni, Chief Education Officer was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Earlier, J R Bhardwaj, Principal DIET Reasi presented welcome address and said that 107 Science Model drawn from different schools of all the six educational zones were displayed in the Exhibition.
The main theme of the exhibition was to develop the scientific attitude and temperament. Most of the exhibits displayed were carrying the innovative ideas inspiring others to use conventional sources of energy.
Amandeep of Govt. MS Chubbi of Chinkah zone bagged the first prize, while the second prize went to Vishakha of M S Karyani of Reasi zone and Manisha of MS Patta zone Pouni won the third prize.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Brij Lal Field Advisor State Institute of Education, Jammu, Bodh Raj ZEO Reasi, Mohd Baddal ZEO Mahore, Gopal Krishan Komal ZEO Pouni, Romesh Chander Sharma ZEO Arnas and Nana Ji Tickoo ZEO Chinkah.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks presented by Sushma Verma HoD.
