YBCC registers 2 wkts win over RCC, secures berth in next round

JAMMU, June 22: Young Blood Cricket Club (YBCC) registered 2 wickets win over Rebels Cricket Club (RCC) and secured berth in the next round of the ongoing Ist Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Gold Cup  T-20 Cricket Tournament, being played at Cantt Ground, Satwari.
Batting first, RCC scored 102 runs for all out in 14 overs. Prince scored highest 21 runs while Pranav made 19 runs.
From YBCC side, Kawal and Anmol scalped 3 wickets each, whereas Balwinder and Ranjan took 2 wickets each. Gagan scalped 1 wicket.
In reply, YBCC chased the target in 16 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Jatinder made 26 runs, whereas Rahul, Balwinder and Navjot made 14 runs each.
From RCC side, Maninder, Dev and Rahul scalped 2 wickets each, whereas Rahul took one wicket.
Balwinder of YBCC was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance.
The match was officiated by Manu and Chetan as umpires, while Honey maintained the scorecard.
