JAMMU, Aug 14: J&K’s four boxers namely Pradeep Sharma, Asish Chalotra, Gulshan Singh Chib and Avinash Sharma have been selected in Indian Army, which had launched a recruitment drive for players at Sunjwan, here.
The boxers are the trainees of boxing coach Anil Kumar Wadera, who imparts training to them at MA Stadium coaching center.
The president of J&K Amateur Boxing Association, S Rangil Singh, general secretary, Dr Nirmolak Singh and Ashutosh Sharma, general secretary J&K Olympic Association have appreciated Army for this special recruitment drive.
