JAMMU, May 28: Inter Departmental ‘T-Shirt Designing’ Competition on the theme ‘YCET’ was organized by the Spice Club of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology amid creative fervour and youthful exuberance, here.
The aim of the event was to explore and develop creative talent among the students and their belongingness to the institution.
The students were required to design T-Shirts in line with the theme of the event on the front and back of the T-Shirt. Faculty members, staff and all the students of YCET participated in the event.
Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI was the chief guest and Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI, presided over the function.
The participants presented their innovative and creative designs depicting various platforms, clubs, extracurricular activities, unique initiatives provided to them in front of the jam packed audience.
Pragati Jamwal, student of 4th Semester, Computer Engineering Department, was declared the winner.
The event was organized under the supervision of Dr Preeti Verma and coordinated by Arti Tickoo, Er Amit Shivgotra,Er Irshan Verma and Rahul Gupta.
Dr Seema Naraian, Director YCET, congratulated the organizing Spice Club coordinator and the students for their concerted efforts and zeal for participation in this creative extravaganza.
Er Bodh Raj Verma, Dean Academics, R S Dalpatia, Dy Registrar, A K Kaul, TPO and senior faculty members including Er Dinesh Gupta, Er Rajnish Magotra, Er Neeraj Pandita and Er Rhea Mahajan were present on the occasion.
Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI,Th Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, JGEI, and Er Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI urged the students to participate in such creative pursuits in order to hone their talents for greater challenges ahead in their professional career.
