IECS, North Polytechnic organizes Alumni Meet

JAMMU, Dec 30: IECS and North Polytechnic, the two institutions working under the aegis of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions organized an Alumni Meet-2014 at Purkhoo Camp, here today.
A large number of alumni’s attended the Meet.
Er Nazir Hussain Malik, Secretary, J&K State Board of Technical Education was the chief guest of the occasion, which was also attended by Er Mohd Shafi Bhat, Joint Director Technical Education and Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman, Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions as the guests of honour.
The function among others was attended by Er Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt. Polytechnic Jammu, Er Neetu Maini, Principal Govt Polytechnic for Women Jammu, Er B R Verma, former Secretary State Board of Technical Education, Prof Inderjit Singh and Er Rajnish Magotra.
The function began with lighting of traditional lamp followed by welcome address by Er K G Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic.
A report regarding various activities going-on in the two institutions, as also the placement record was presented by Er Ajay Jamwal, Dean Administration, Training and Placement.
The alumni participating in the Meet shared their memorable experiences in the campus when they were studying in the two polytechnics as engineering students.
The chief guest Er N H Malik and Er Mohd Shafi Bhat spoke about the importance of organizing such Meets, where the alumni could refresh their memories of their student life.
The students of the two institutions presented a cultural programme on this occasion.
Mementos were presented to all the alumni, who participated in the Meet.
