GHSS Dablehar wins national consolation prize

JAMMU, June 1: Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Dablehar, Zone RS Pura, District Jammu, has secured the National Level Consolation Prize under the TOFEI – School Challenge 2025 “Towards a Tobacco-Free Generation,” organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at Novotel, New Delhi City Centre after evaluation at district, state and national levels. The function was graced by Sanjay Kumar, Secretary DoSEL, as chief guest. Other dignitaries included A. Srija, Economic Advisor DoSEL; Ram Singh, Joint Director DoSEL; Prof Dinesh Prasad, Director NCERT; ML Meena, Director DoSEL; along with Joint Secretaries from the Ministries of Health and Family Welfare, Information and Broadcasting, and Social Justice and Empowerment. The school credited its success to the Principal, dedicated staff and hardworking students for this national achievement.
