JAMMU, May 26: Promising fencer Vansh Raina brought pride to Jammu & Kashmir by clinching a silver medal in the Sabre Individual category at the ongoing 21st Cadet National Fencing Championship being held in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.
Competing against top fencers from across the country, Vansh showcased exceptional skill, determination and fighting spirit to secure the podium finish.
His impressive performance has also earned him selection for the High Performance Centre at Vijayi Bharat Sports Academy, Gujarat, marking another significant milestone in his budding career.
President of the Jammu & Kashmir Fencing Association Vijay Kumar and secretary Advocate Supriya Chouhan termed the achievement of the young athlete as a proud moment for the Union Territory.
