JAMMU, May 15: KC Public School (Senior Wing) today held an impressive programme in the general hall of KC Sports Club, where elected representatives of the School Students’ Council for the academic session 2026-27 were conferred with badges and insignias of authority.
Manav Gupta, Director Finance, Home Department and Secretary, Jammu Tawi Golf Course, attended the function as chief guest, while Arti Chowdhary, Managing Director of the school, was also present. Members of the Environment Club welcomed the chief guest by presenting him with a sapling.
The programme began with the school song by the choir group, followed by a ceremonial march-in by office bearers of the Students’ Council. Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra administered the oath to the newly elected members, emphasizing honesty, sincerity and commitment in leadership roles.
The badges and insignias were presented by the chief guest, Managing Director, Principal and Vice Principal. Vice Principal Sekhon presented the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the ceremony.
