JAMMU, Apr 28: MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi felicitated young handball player Anuj Langer for winning a bronze medal at the Central Asian Handball Championship held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
A resident of Sehgal Gali, Anuj Langer brought laurels to Jammu and India through his dedication, discipline and consistent performance on the international stage. The felicitation ceremony was held at his residence, where Yudhvir Sethi praised the athlete’s achievement and said it would inspire youth to pursue excellence in sports.
Sethi was accompanied by Arun Sethi, District President OBC Morcha, Chaman East Mandal Secretary, Raman Gupta, Suraj Anand, Kamlesh Tak, Raman Behal, Suraj Gandral and Vinod Kumar. He emphasized the need to strengthen sports culture in Jammu and Kashmir and assured full support to promising players representing the region at higher levels.
