SAMBA, Mar 31: The day-long Samba District Judo Championship concluded at Sports Stadium, Samba, witnessing enthusiastic participation from young athletes. The event was organized by the Judo Association of Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council.
Shakti Gupta, Manager, Sports Stadium Samba, graced the occasion as chief guest and distributed medals and certificates among the winners. Manish Chatwal attended the event as guest of honour.
Participants showcased impressive skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. In the gold category, winners included Mehvish Choudhary, Rafia Kouser, Nihal Chib, Mahika Sharma, Aarit Dev Singh, Mansi Devi and Jatin Singh. Silver medals were secured by Aruhi Devi, Shruti Kumari, Sahror Ahmed, Manvi Devi, Mujasham, Sunalika Rajput, and Manish Partap. Bronze medallists included Tabassam Khan, Gugham Sharma, Anshika Manhas, Mushahid Ali, Assad Ali, Anirudh Kumar, Kanish Singh, Kavya Bahu, Anshita Kumari, Akshita Kokuri and Mahi Manhas.
