RAJOURI, Mar 17: District Police Rajouri organised a volleyball tournament at Nowshera under its Civic Action Programme to promote sports and constructive engagement among local youth. Four teams participated, showcasing enthusiasm and sporting spirit. The final saw Nowshera-A defeat Kheri Volleyball Club in a thrilling contest to lift the trophy.
ASP Nowshera Baljit Singh was the chief guest, accompanied by SDPO Nowshera Sahil Mahajan and SHO Nowshera Arjun Magotra, who appreciated the players and organisers for their efforts. Participants were encouraged to pursue sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle while avoiding drug abuse. The initiative reflects District Police Rajouri’s commitment to fostering discipline, teamwork, and youth engagement in positive activities.
