JAMMU, Mar 13: The National Institute of Fashion Design (NIFD), Jammu, organized a one-day makeup workshop titled “Beauty Beyond Basics,” witnessing an overwhelming response from nearly 100 participants, including college students and housewives eager to learn professional beauty techniques.
The workshop was conducted by well-known makeup artist Lakshmi Dogra, who demonstrated advanced makeup techniques and shared expert tips on enhancing natural beauty, understanding products, and keeping up with the latest trends in the beauty industry. The session was highly engaging and provided participants with practical exposure and valuable insights into professional makeup artistry.
The workshop aimed to empower women by helping them develop confidence and skills in the field of beauty and makeup, while also encouraging those interested in exploring career opportunities in the beauty industry.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Vanita Thakur, Chairperson of NIFD, presented certificates to all the participants and appreciated their enthusiasm and keen interest in learning new skills.
Sheetal Sharma, Centre Manager and Head of the Department of Fashion Design at NIFD Jammu, highlighted the importance of such skill-based workshops in nurturing creativity and providing practical learning opportunities for aspiring beauty professionals.
