JAMMU, Feb 4: The ‘Vidya Daan Maha Daan’ National Art Workshop, organised by Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust (MSCBMCT) in collaboration with PETRONET LNG Limited concluded here today.
On the concluding day, the Trust organised an interactive session and live art demonstration at Government College of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu. Eminent national and regional artists including Manish K. Rao, Javaid Iqbal, Aditya S. Prasad, Rakhi Kumar, Shyamal Mukherjee, Vijaylaxmi Deepak Mer, Chaitali Chanda, Sharmila Sharma, Monalisa Sarkar, Sagar Vasant Kamble and renowned Kashmiri artist Naushad Gayooro engaged with students, sharing techniques, artistic perspectives and professional insights into the field of fine arts.
Later, the workshop team organised the final outreach programme at a Government School near Suchetgarh College, where students actively participated in painting and creative art activities under the guidance of the visiting artists.
Adding a strong patriotic dimension to the concluding day, the participants also visited Suchetgarh Border, where they witnessed the ceremonial parade conducted by BSF. The participants also paid heartfelt tribute at Amar Jawan Jyoti, remembering the sacrifices of brave soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, the Trust president, Anuradha Rishi, expressed gratitude to PETRONET LNG Limited for supporting the Trust in organising the workshop.
She reiterated that such initiatives help nurture confidence, imagination and cultural awareness among young students.
The workshop featured live painting sessions, art demonstrations, student interactions and community engagement activities, continuing the legacy and vision of Master Sansar Chand Baru, whose dedication towards art, culture and education remains an inspiration.
