JAMMU, Dec 18: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu, today commenced Inter-Division UT Level Baseball Competitions (U-AAG Boys and Girls) at Khel Gaon, Nagrota. Around 137 players from Jammu and Kashmir divisions participated, showcasing their talent and competing for top positions. The competition also serves as a selection platform for upcoming tournaments. Matches are being conducted by expert officials, including Harvinder Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Amolak Singh, Opinder Pal, Rakesh Singh, Varinder Singh and Gurbachan Singh.
In today’s matches, the Kashmir Division secured first place across all age categories, while the Jammu Division finished as runners-up. In the U-14 Boys and Girls categories, Kashmir emerged victorious, followed by Jammu. Similarly, in the U-17 and U-19 Girls categories, Kashmir Division maintained its winning streak, with Jammu Division claiming second place.
