SRINAGAR, Aug 28: 15th District Sqay Championship 2014 concluded at Islamiya College Hawal, here today.
The Championship was organized by District Sqay Association Srinagar from August 26 and was sponsored by Bilal Ahmad, Principal Hamzah Educational Institute Khanyar and Tiger Club.
The chief guest of the Championship was Principal Islamiya College, Dr M Aslam Baba and guest of honour was Nazir Ahmad Mir, expert of the game. Himayu Kaiser of Radio Kashmir and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The organizer of this competition was Parvaiz Hussain.
Over 600 boys and girls of different Schools and Clubs of District Srinagar participated in this competition. Green Valley Educational Institute emerged winner, while Young Martial Club claimed runners-up trophy.
The selected players of the Championship will represent District in forthcoming State Championship to be held at Srinagar.
