UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: The Inter-District UT-Level Cricket Tournament concluded today across multiple venues in Udhampur, organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports.
The event showcased disciplined and competitive cricket, reflecting the department’s commitment to promoting grassroots talent under the guidance of DG Youth Services & Sports, Anuradha Gupta.
At Subash Stadium, Samba defeated Poonch by 6 wickets and 9 runs, while Anantnag beat Shopian by 40 runs. On the DPL Ground, Rajouri chased down Kathua’s 63 runs to win by 5 wickets and Doda narrowly defeated Budgam by 8 runs. At GDC/PG College Ground, Jammu defeated Srinagar by 15 runs and Kulgam triumphed over Baramulla by 4 wickets. At SKPA Ground, Ganderbal beat Kishtwar by 9 wickets, while Pulwama secured a 10-wicket win against Udhampur.
The department appreciated the efforts of officials, coaches, technical and ground staff for smooth, incident-free matches.
