JAMMU, Dec 11: Lawrence Public School, Jammu celebrated the Junior School Annual Day with the vibrant theme “Universe of Dreams,” marking the grand conclusion of the school’s 40-year anniversary festivities. The two-day celebration was inaugurated yesterday by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and today’s event carried forward the same spirit of pride, joy and excellence.
The occasion was graced by chief guest Sanjeev Verma, Chief Electoral Officer, UT of J&K, who applauded the institution for its commitment to quality education and holistic development.
The school was also honoured by the presence of distinguished Special Guests: Padma Shri SP Verma, Padma Shri Jitendra Udhampuri and Padma Shri Prof Ramalo Ram.
The guests of honour for the day were Sohail Qazmi and Dr Sachin Kandhari. The program celebrated the joyful talent of young students, whose energetic and colourful performances brought the theme “Universe of Dreams” to life. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as parents appreciated the creativity, effort, and confidence of the children.
The school fondly remembered its visionary Foundress, Shakuntala Joshi. The chief guest felicitated the special guests and the School Management — Chairman Wing Commander MM Joshi, Managing Director Manish Joshi, Principal Shivani Joshi and Trustee Manya Joshi — presented mementos to the chief guest and guests of honour. The dignitaries also awarded certificates to the first, second and third position holders of the school, encouraging them for their achievements and applauding their hard work.
