SRINAGAR, June 1: The Wushu Association of Jammu & Kashmir will conduct selection trials on June 4 and 5 at SKISC Srinagar to shortlist athletes for the upcoming 24th Junior National Wushu Championship, scheduled to be held from July 1st to 6 at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad.
The championship is being hosted by the Wushu Association of Telangana under the aegis of the Wushu Association of India. The selection trials will witness participation from promising young athletes across the Union Territory. The shortlisted athletes will undergo an intensive coaching camp, with Sanda athletes training in Srinagar and Taolu athletes in Jammu, under the supervision of expert coaches.
The selection committee comprised Kuldeep Handoo (Chairman) and members Rajinder Singh, Maqsood Rather, Kamal Kishore, Irfan Ahmed, Yash Pal, Rameez and Ajaz Hassan.
