JKSC Secretary meets Gymnasts ahead of 38th National Games

JAMMU, Feb 3: In a motivational gesture to support J&K’s Gymnastics contingent for the upcoming 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, Nuzhat Gul, Secretary Sports Council, met with the men’s and women’s gymnastics teams at the Gymnastics Academy, MA Stadium, Jammu. She wished them success as they prepare to compete in Dehradun, expressing her confidence in their performance.
The contingent includes the Rhythmic Gymnastics Team comprising Muskan Rana, Manya, Vaibhavi Sharma and Jagriti Thakur, as well as the Aerobic Gymnastics Team with Riya Sharma, Parul Mehra, Manav Gupta, Vikas Gupta, Vivek Sumbria, Badal Kumar and Laksh Mahajan.
Kiran Wattal, President of the Gymnastics Association of Jammu and Kashmir (GAJK), expressed gratitude to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for his support in enhancing sports infrastructure, contributing to the success of athletes from J&K.
Other notable attendees included Baljinder Pal Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu; S.P Singh; Anil Khajuria, Treasurer GAJK; Arjuna Awardees Krupali Patel Singh, Manisha Gupta, and former international gymnast Manpreet Kour.
