New 5 Star Club enters finals

MENDHAR, Apr 13: Outplaying the star-studded 5 Star Club by 2 wickets in the semifinals, New 5 Star Cricket Club sealed berth in the finals of the ongoing Seasonal T20 Cricket Cup at OP Hill Stadium, here today.
Now, New 5 Star Club will take on Young Cricket Club in the summit clash.
Earlier, batting first, 5 Star Club, which was the defending champion of this tournament from 2002 to 2014, scored a modest total of 105 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
In reply, New 5 Star Club chased the target by losing 8 wickets, thus won the match by 2 wickets. Ali Hussain Shah was the star performer for the winners.
The match was officiated by Amit Saini and Rahil Malik as umpires, while Zulkernain Abbas was the scorer.
