J&K Bank to lock horns with J&K Bank Academy in final today

JAMMU, Dec 30: J&K Bank will lock horns with J&K Bank Academy in final of the ongoing Christmas Soccer Championship, being organized by Christian Sports Organisation J&K at GGM Science College Football ground, tomorrow.
In the first semifinal, J&K Bank crushed Mussa Club by 4-1 goals and registered berth in the final of the championship.
In the first half, Prem Kumar of J&K Bank netted the goal in the 17th minute and raised the scorecard to 1-0 goal.
In 26th minute, passionate Prem Kumar again netted the goal and brought the opponent team players under extreme pressure of 2-0 goals.
The players of Mussa Club made various attempts to net the goal and equalize the score, but all their attempts were overwhelmed by the J&K Bank players and the first half ended with 2-0 goals.
As the players of Mussa Club were already reeling under extreme pressure in the first half, Prem Kumar of J&K Bank with his excellent footwork further raised the pressure level on the opponent Mussa Club team players by scoring the goal in the 42nd minute of the second half.
Players of Mussa Club started playing mind games and restricted J&K Bank players for around half an hour to net the goal.
In the 75th minute, Vishal of Mussa Club scored the goal and brought the scorecard to 3-1 goals.
After netting the goal, the players of Mussa Club were dreaming of winning the game, but enthusiastic Prem Kumar of J&K Bank again netted the goal in the 79th minute and shattered the dreams of Mussa Club team players.
After the fourth goal by the Prem Kumar in the 79th minute, players of Mussa Club were looking dominated and thus lost the match by 4-1 goals and also paved way for J&K Bank team to enter into the final of the championship.
In the second semifinal match, J&K Bank Academy knocked out J&K PDC by a solitary goal and will now clash with J&K Bank in the final tomorrow.
In the first half of the match, players of both the teams tried their level best to raise the lead on one another, but all their attempts proved failure and the first half ended with ‘no goal’.
In the second half, Ravi of J&K Bank Academy netted the goal in the 65th minute and elevated the scorecard to 1-0 goal, which the opponent J&K PDC team players failed to equalize till last minute and lost the match by 1-0 goal.
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Kumar, Moon Stiphen, Vijay, Rinku Gill, Hilal Ahmed and Amit Sotra.
