Quality education, moral values imperative in shaping personality of students: Bhalla

JAMMU, Dec 30: Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture Raman Bhalla has asked the teaching fraternity to put their sincere efforts in providing quality education and moral values to the students, adding that such values are imperative in shaping the personality of the students.
Ths Minister said this while addressing the gathering at 37th Annual Day function of Little Flower Higher Secondary School, here today at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Kiran Wattal, Principal of the school Meera Soni besides eminent personalities, teaching, non-teaching staff members including parents and students were present on the occasion.
Bhalla asked the teaching fraternity to impart quality education to the students so that they become civilized and responsible citizen of the State.
Minister also highlighted the role of the teachers and parents in the life of the children. He asked the students to work hard and show their excellence in coming exams. He said education is vital for their better tomorrow and asked students to share their knowledge with each other.
Earlier, the students of the school presented a colourful cultural programme, which was highly applauded by the audience.
Later, Bhalla distributed mementos among the meritorious students who have performed well in exams and extra- curricular activities during last year.
