District Cycling C’ship held

RAJOURI, Mar 20: District Cycling Championship was organized by District Rajouri Cycling Championship at High School Sawani Ground, today.
The championship was flagged off by former senior national cyclist of Jammu and Kashmir Sahil Raina. A total of 45 cyclists from different age-groups participated in the competition.
The medal ceremony was presided over by Headmaster GHS Nirmal Kumar in presence of Vikram Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Deepak Sharma, Sahil Sharma, Akshay Kumar and Neha Dutta.
In youth, Rebu Raina, Mohd Farooz and Manoj Singh stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, in youth time trial, first three places were secured by Pourav Raina, Saqib Arshid and Nazakit Pervaiz, in men sub junior, Akshay Kumar-1st, Rohit Kumar-2nd and Karan Sharma-3rd, in junior, Mohd Fazahil-1st, Mandeep Singh-2nd and Manik Sharma-3rd, in senior, Aditya Sharma-1st, Dushant Sharma-2nd and Abhishek Raina-3rd and in senior time trial, Vikram Sharma-1st, Ritik Sharma-2nd and Mohd Shoket-3rd.
