JAMMU, Mar 31: Jammu Strikers Cricket Club registered win over Game Changer Cricket Club by 22 runs on the fourth day of the ongoing 50 overs U-19 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Safran Cricket Club and Country Cricket Club at Country Cricket Stadium, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Jammu Strikers scored a total of 228 in 44.3 overs by losing all the wickets. Damen Preet played a wonderful inning of 49 runs, while Vinayak Khajuria made 48 runs, Ajay Singh Chib scored 22 runs and Dhruv made 21 runs.
From Game Changer, Aryan Sharma took 2 wickets whereas Aryan, Laith, Jeevesh and Arjun scalped 1 wicket apiece.
In reply, Game Changer failed to chase the target and bundled out at 206 runs by losing all the wickets in 41.4 overs. Aryan Sharma scored 61 runs, Laith August made 31 runs, Arjun made 27 runs and Rajinder scored 25 runs.
From Jammu Strikers, Saheem scalped 4 wickets, Amanpreet took 3 wickets, whereas Dhruv, Vansh, S Chouhan clinched 1 wicket each.
Damen Preet was adjusted as Man of the Match for his overall performance.
