KATHUA, Dec 10: Government Degree College for Women (GDCW), Kathua organized an Inter-collegiate quiz competition on ‘Human Rights Day’, today.
About 200 students from the various colleges of Jammu division participated wherein 1st position was shared by Kamakshi Andotra of GDCW Kathua, Narayani Saini of GCW Gandhi Nagar and Daljeet Kour of Bhargava Degree College Samba, whereas 2nd position was jointly clinched by Sonia Choudhary of GDCW Kathua, Ayush Kumar Jha of SPMR College of Commerce and Arvind Kumar of GDC Vijaypur, besides 3rd place was shared by Druv Gupta of SPMR College of Commerce, Nandini Manhas of GCW Gandhi Nagar and Pooja Rani of GDCW Kathua.
All the participants who secured above 80 percent marks were awarded with e-certificates.
The quiz was jointly organized by the Departments of Political Science and Sociology under the guidance of College Principal, Dr MS Pathania, Professor Pallavi, HoD Department of Political Science and Assistant Professor, Vijay Kumar, HoD Department of Sociology.
