Khalsa Warriors lifts trophy

JAMMU, Aug 12: Khalsa Warriors lifted the title trophy of the ongoing Independence Day Sports Week by defeating MBS Hockey Club by 2-0 goals, being organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with Hockey J&K on league cum knock out basis at Green Field Gandhi Nagar, here today.
For Khalsa Club, Gagandeep Singh scored the first goal in the 18th minute of the game, while 2nd goal was scored by Manmeet Singh in the 50th minute of the match.
Dr Zaffer Iqbal Chief Accounts Officer (CAO) J&K Sports Council was the chief guest of the final match. The match was officiated by Joginder Singh, Tajinder Singh and D Singh.
