JAMMU, May 23: 2-day Inter-School Sports Meet organized by Adarsh Educational Trust today concluded at Armed Police Complex, Channi Himmat, here.
Johny Williams DIG Armed Range, Jammu was the chief guest on the concluding day of the event, while AK Kapoor, chairman Adarsh Educational Trust was the Special Invitee. PB Kapoor, MD Adarsh Educational Trust and Rahul Kapoor, Secretary of the Trust were the guests of honour.
In cricket, the final match was played between ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat, Jammu and Adarsh Shiksha Niketan, Resham Ghar Colony. ASN Channi Himmat won the match by 59 runs.
In kho-kho, the final match was played between ASN HSS, Channi Himmat, Jammu and Jammu Public School, Sainik Colony, which was won by ASN Channi Himmat.
In badminton girls doubles, the final match was played between United Public School, Channi Himmat and ASN HSS, wherein ASN emerged winner, while in badminton boys doubles, the final match was won United Public School, Channi Himmat, defeating ASN.
In 100 mtrs boys, Rajat of UP HSS stood first, Arshjeet of ASN HSS, Channi Himmat stood 2nd and Nissar of Tiny Tots HSS stood 3rd.
Omesh of Jammu Public HSS, Rishab of Tawishi Scholars Public School and Shah Jahan of UP HSS claimed first three positions in 200 mtrs boys respectively.
In 100 mtrs girls, Rinkle of Tiny Tots HSS stood first, Sakshi of ASN HSS, Channi Himmat stood 2nd and Janvi of DCM Public School stood 3rd.
Meanwhile, in 200 mtrs girls, Damini of Tiny Tots HSS stood first, Himanshi of Tiny Tots HSS stood 2nd and Shivali of DCM Public School stood 3rd. All the winners were felicitated by the chief guest on the occasion.
