JAMMU, Jan 21: Ten wrestlers have been selected to represent J&K UT Wrestling team for upcoming 65th Men Free Style Senior National Championship which is scheduled to be held at Chandra Mauli Pandey Kushti Academy Noida from January 23 to 24.
Selected wrestlers were Ajit Malhotra, Vicku Sharma, Sunny Sharma, Munir Hussain, Mohd Hafiz, Munir Ahmed, Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Abdul Rashid, Bania Min and Ishaq Ahmed. Om Parkash Sharma (Wrestling Coach J&K Police) will accompany the team as a coach.
The wrestlers were selected by screening committee of J&K Sports Council. The screening was conducted at KK Hakku Stadium under the supervision Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu in the presence of Dheeraj Sharma chairman technical committee Wrestling Association of J&K, Om Parkash (coach), Ravinder Kumar, Sahil Sharma and Gautam.
